If somebody told me that I can only be happy IF (fill-in-the-blank with physical bandages) then I would say that person is selling Humility short.
Pride takes offense when it can’t have its way. Humility has Compassion for itself when its desires don’t manifest.
Being happy as-is is life’s virtuous work. Anybody trying to sell me on all the king’s horses -when what I really need to do is Love myself with Humility- can respectfully
